Luxury e-commerce sales are expected to reach $21 billion in the next five years, making online retail a powerful opportunity for luxury brands, writes Charles Whiteman in a recent post at Luxury Daily.

Whiteman, MotionPoint’s SVP of Client Services, shared four key emerging markets with the publication, based on MotionPoint’s research and proprietary analysis.

With global Internet and smartphone adoption skyrocketing—and business-to-consumer ecommerce sales hitting new records each year—engaging these emerging markets is a bold step in ensuring new customers and revenue streams and immediate and sustained sales growth, Whiteman wrote.
